Who's watching? We'll find out.

CamSweep is a Service from Tony Josephs and Sons Investigations Inc., specializing in the identification of unauthorized surveillance devises placed in private areas in violation of local, state and federal anti-voyeurism laws.
While we primarily serve all areas of New York State including New York City, we have the ability to conduct both covert and overt monitoring throughout the United States and abroad. We are able to conduct sweeps at any hour, and utilize both male and female employees to sweep gender specific locations.

A picture can tell a thousand words, but a camera can create a thousand victims.

As a business owner, you understand restrooms, changing areas, and similar locations are under your custody and control. While the chance of a hidden camera placed in a protected area is low, you understand the consequences are severe. Lawsuits, brand deterioration, and loss of trust are common. The answer to the next question changes everything.

What have you done to protect your employees, customers, and the general public from unlawful surveillance and illegal voyeurism?

Hidden cameras are found most of the time by accident, either by a fellow employee, manager, tenant or customer. Most discoveries are a result of a poor concealment method used by the perpetrator. With the rapidly developing technology on the market, accidental identification is becoming nearly impossible.

The majority of press reports on illegal voyeurism are a result of a victim making the discovery. The blurring of faces on sites selling illegal videos makes profiling the location and identification of victims extremely difficult.

The perpetrators of unauthorized surveillance and illegal voyeurism are able to generate an exponential amount of victims compared to other crimes. In addition, the publication of such material creates a recurring effect which victims must live with throughout the rest of their lives.

Anti-Voyeurism and Unlawful Surveillance Countermeasures
We Identify:
cameras embedded within everyday products
devices whether they are turned on or off
wired or unwired devices
two-way mirrors
pinhole Cameras

The CamSweep service is ideal for any organization with a medium to high volume of visitors to areas protected from surveillance by law.

This includes restrooms, locker rooms, and changing areas. The CamSweep service can also be utilized by new tenants, hotel guests and others seeking an additional layer of protection.

CamSweep is more affordable and more discreet than "Bug Sweep" and full scope "TSCM" services.

The objective of "Bug Sweeps" and "Technical Surveillance Countermeasures" is to identify both audio and video surveillance and interception devices. In order to effectively locate these devices, one must search frequency ranges, conduct extensive physical searches and possess the tools and training to get the job done effectively.

The CamSweep service is different, as we are only looking for cameras. We utilize technology to identify camera lenses, including pinhole camera lenses. A lens is much easier to find than a listening device embedded in a wall. Our service takes significantly less time and is much less costly than a full scope TSCM sweep. If your organization is interested in an extensive counter surveillance monitoring sweep, contact us for more information.

Are you doing your due diligence? Are you prepared to answer these questions?

How did you first learn about the hidden camera in your restroom?

CamSweep Protected Business: We were immediately alerted by CamSweep, our privacy protection service provider that specializes in the identification of such devices.

Unprotected Business: Our customer noticed a wire hanging from a ceiling tile and called police. We were made aware of the situation through our store manager.

What procedures were in place to prevent this from happening, or minimize the damage caused by this incident?

CamSweep Protected Business: All employees, contractors, and vendors, are made aware of our privacy audit programs. Franchise owners understand that we routinely check for these devices, and we believe this oversight is an essential protection mechanism.

We believe in taking all reasonable steps to secure our workers and the public. Our corporation surpasses the industry standard with regards to privacy protection, which is why we were able to locate this device immediately.

Unprotected Business: While we have been reading several recent articles dealing with these types of privacy related issues, we just didn't think it would happen to us. After conducting research, we learned that many of our national competitors had experienced hidden camera disasters within the last 10 years.

We are unsure how long the camera had been in place, as we do not look for these devices. Our employees and franchise owners understand we do not check for hidden cameras. We will now use CamSweep, and educate our employees about our new zero tolerance policy on unlawful surveillance.
